Introduction
The Community of Practice and Experimentation (COPE) is a practice group for people with a strong interest in using Bert Hellinger’s constellations work in organisations. |
 |
If you want to develop your organisational constellation expertise within a community of skilled practitioners, COPE is the group for you. With regular meetings and a support network, you have a ready-made practical way to increase your learning and grow your professional skills.
COPE originated from students of the organisational constellations training provided by Judith Hemming and the Nowhere Foundation. COPE is now an independent self-organising group.
 |
COPE focuses on organisational
constellations with some cross over into personal and family issues
as that reflects the nature of some material that arises with organisational
constellations work. |
Memberships offers the chance to:
Attend six COPE meetings each year
Develop your constellations expertise
Continue to practice and learn constellations
skills
Get peer supervision on your organisational
consultancy relationships
Benefit from support and encouragement
from other members
Share success stories
Consult about challenging situations
in a confidential environment
| As you build your skills, COPE with support, refresh
and invigorate you at every stage of development. |
 |
COPE members meet once every two months, with meetings held in Bath.
Each meeting features fresh discussion and work on aspects of organisational constellations practice. In addition, there is plenty of time to consider projects, questions and issues raised by members on the day. Meetings run from 10.30 am to 5.15 pm to allow for travel on the day. |
 |
The coordinating and facilitating role associated with each meeting rotates within the members. Commitment is gained for the next meeting before members go their separate ways.
Costs
The subscription for 2008 – 2009, starting July 2008, is £50.00. COPE has a volunteer Treasurer, who has responsibility for collecting the money and paying for venues and website maintenance. This arrangement is reviewed on an annual basis at the same time as the membership subscription. |
 |
The prime criterion for membership
is that the person has a strong interest in the application of the
constellations approach in organisations. Other selection criteria
include a mixture of the following:
- Some experience of organisational consultancy or organisational management, be it in the private or public sector
- Some training in or experience of constellations work be it organisational, personal or family emphasis
- A willingness and ability to pay the annual subscription for six meetings a year
- A willingness and ability to contribute to the running of COPE (eg organise and/or facilitate a meeting)
 |
Anyone interested in joining COPE needs either to be sponsored by one of the existing members or for his/her application to be put forward to the group. Applications will be considered by the members present at that meeting. They have the authority to decide whether such an application is accepted. |
